TIRANA, July 12 /ATA/ – Kosovo Internal Affairs Minister, Bejtush Gashi, received in a meeting the Ambassador of the Netherlands to Kosovo, Gerrie Willems, who stressed that “her country will support Kosovo’s membership in the international organizations”.
During the meeting, Willems and Gashi discussed on the commitment of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and security institutions, to meeting the criteria required for Kosovo’s membership in the European Union.
For his part, Minister Gashi stated that, “ Kosovo has fulfilled all the criteria for the visa liberalization process”.
On this occasion, Minister Gashi sought the support of the Netherlands for helping to accelerate the visa liberalization for citizens of the Republic of Kosovo.
While, the Dutch ambassador, Gerrie Willems, expressed her willingness to continue the cooperation between the two countries.//a.i./
