TIRANA, June 12 / ATA/ – There are about 100 projects funded directly by the state budget and planned to be implemented in the Municipality of Durrës, the Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama stated after the government meeting held Tuesday in the coastal city.
The Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama stated that,” these projects are joined to the 123 ongoing projects and several hundred other road-related projects funded by foreign donors in cooperation with local governments in this region.”
“It is a significant investment package that comes after the implementation of over 400 projects during 2014-2017 with a total value of $ 17.3 million,” the head of the executive, Rama stated.
Also, the Premier said that, the new investments aimed at turning the city of Durres into an important entry gateway and a tourist center.
“Being a key pillar of the country’s economic development, the city of Durrës will need a continuous strengthening and consolidation,” Prime Minister added.
