TRANA, June 2 / ATA / – Enterprises from the European Union countries operating in Albania represent a total of 66.7 % of the foreign enterprises and joint ventures, according to the INSTAT report on the Business Register 2017.
A total of 54.0 % of foreign and joint ventures are enterprises involving business partners from Italy and Greece .
The economic activity including call centres as well as the wholesale trade activities are mostly directed by the foreign owners or co-owners.
A total of 77.9 % of foreign enterprises and joint ventures are mainly based in the municipalities Tirana and Durrës.
