TIRANA, May 25 /ATA/- A high-level delegation from the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, during the visit to Tirana on Friday have commented on the protest that opposition will stage tomorrow in “Martyrs of the Nation” boulevard.
In a press release, OSCE says: A high-level delegation from the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, including its President George Tsereteli and Secretary General Roberto Montella, is conducting an official visit to Albania. They have met with President of the Republic Ilir Meta, Assembly Speaker Gramoz Ruçi,
Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Ditmir Bushati, and the Democratic Party and Socialist Movement for Integration Leaders, Lulzim Basha and Monika Kryemadhi. In the meetings they expressed strong appreciation over Albania’s support for OSCE activities, and the OSCE PA readiness to accompany
Albania’s leadership and people in the process of reforms currently underway in the country. In regards to Saturday’s protest to be organized by the Albanian Opposition, they expressed the hope that it will be peaceful and democratic.
