TIRANA, May 22 /ATA / – The Kosovo President Hashim Thaçi has commemorated Tuesday the 19th anniversary of Dubrava prison mass killings.
Families of up to 160 prison inmates killed by Serb forces during the Kosovo war commemorated Tuesday the 19th anniversary of their deaths .
During his speech, the Kosovo President Thaci, classified this massacre as one of the greatest tragedies, as well as called for the perpetrators to finally be prosecuted.
Relatives of the dead and survivors of the massacre gathered Tuesday to pay their respects at the prison in north-west Kosovo where it is estimated that 160 prisoners were killed and around 300 others injured by Serbian security forces in May 1999.
