PRISHTINA, May 18 /ATA/ – Kosovo President Hashim Thaçi told a press conference on Friday that Prishtina expects the European Union to recommend liberalization of the visa regime for the citizens of Kosovo travelling to the Schengen Area countries by mid-June.

The head of state described Kosovo’s participation in the Sofia summit as a historic moment, saying the country attends such a big summit for the first time.
