TIRANA, May 18/ATA/-Albania is in the phase of an intensive high-level dialogue with the EU about opening of the EU accession negotiations, stated on Friday Prime Minister Edi Rama in a press conference after his return from the EU-Western Balkans summit in Sofia.
The prime minister appreciated positive the fact that the dialogue extends even in the second technical level dealing with every aspect and detail of the process.
EU-Western Balkans summit didn’t focus on the topic we are especially interested in, but on connectivity, road and digital infrastructure.
“But, we couldn’t avoid the topic of our concern and took the opportunity of the meeting of the leaders and the dinner to discuss on this topic”, said the prime minister informing on Sofia summit.
According to him, it’s crystal clear that our agenda carrying the further objectives to be achieved and the EU agenda of reform do not coincide.
“There are different approaches and it is not that obvious the way of reform in the EU, said PM Rama. /p.s./
