PRISTINA, May 17/ATA/ – The reforms in the rule of law sector will improve services of the justice institutions for citizens, the Kosovo Justice Minister, Abelard Tahiri stated Thursday during a meeting with the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) delegation in Washington.
In attendance at the meeting was also the Chief Executive Officer in Millennium Foundation Kosovo, Petrit Selimi, who was briefed on changes to legislation, based on the package of laws on the judiciary, anticorruption laws, penal code and the review of the rule of law sector.
“We are interested in intensifying cooperation with the MCC in order that, the Kosovo Ministry of Justice would be an active part of initiatives and projects aimed at increasing transparency in building a better accountability,” the Kosovo Justice Minister Tahiri said.
