TIRANA, May 14 /ATA /  – The road trip from Erseka to Leskovik could be well worth it , as one of the most picturesque and attractive place in Albania.

You can see the ancient road of the previous Italian/Albanian fascist regime as well as the stunning landscape.

Many nature enthusiasts travel this road with bicycles and other motor vehicles.

During the trip, there are several villages including , Borova, Barmash, the Farma Sotira and what is worth visiting  Gërmenj-Sheleguri, a small and beautiful land of green plumps.

The area is called the Gërmenj-Shelegur Natural Reserve, an Albanian destination that offers endless beauty in every season of the year. It is a very beautiful cross-border area, to the southwest of Erseka, where mountains of deep valleys, wetlands, gravel and especially densely mixed forests and oak woods are dominated by black pine.  The area is an ideal place to discover nature by taking long walks, picnics and mountain climbing.

There is also a  small green micro canister hidden in a scenic location in the vicinity of Mount Melesinit in Kolonje County just off the Leskovik road, where there is a view down into a gorge of a waterfall.

The aim of this cache is to encourage travellers to take the Leskovik road from Korca to Permet and experience some of the most stunning, impressive and awesome scenery in Albania. The road is reasonable and can be travelled by car in a day.
