Thanks to investments, the citizens benefit free checkup

TIRANA, May 7/ATA/-We are building a state and making efforts so that the walls we build today do not collapse overnight, as the old stories go, said Prime Minister Edi Rama in Lezha.

He cast a light on the difference between the concessions under the previous government and those of the current government.

The checkup is free of charge for all and it’s indispensable, said PM Rama drawing the attention to the concessions made in the health sector.

“It is not all up to the private business. The private business has made investments so that the opportunity of free general medical examination is available in every medical centre. The state pays from the budget and the checkup ensures that many diseases are prevented and the medical examination is free for the citizens”, said PM Rama.

Meanwhile, the government has made concessions on dialysis and that is offered free of charge. “We pay back the investment in the course of years. The state can’t make all these investments by itself because it means a lot of money.  It is a question of 10-year expenditure paying back for the investments and ensuring that these investments will be free of charge for the people”, said the prime minister. /p.s./
