TIRANA, May 4/ATA/-Police units cuffed in Germany on Friday Arbër Çekaj, the owner of the container seized some time ago in Durrës where were stored 613 kg of cocaine. The drugs was worth 180 million Euros and it was seized in context of Force of the Law “Last Snow” operation.
According to the press release of Albania’s State Police, Çekaj’s detention was realized in cooperation with the German law enforcement agencies.
Çekaj is the owner of the “Arbi Garden” company where the police found the drugs container.
Likewise, the State Police, the other agencies and the Prosecution Office of Serious Crimes exchanged information on the case in record time.
Çekaj was detained in a province near Dusseldorf. /a.g/p.s./
