TIRANA, April 23 /ATA- I. Vata /- Albania in the EU, a stability factor for the whole region. Italy has provided full support and will strongly support Albania’s EU membership, Senator Pier Ferdinando Casini stated during the ceremony of the reception of the “Mother Teresa” Award handed over by the Albanian President, Ilir Meta.
During the ceremony organized in the premises of the Albanian President Office, Meta expressed his gratitude for the support of Senator Pier Ferdinando Casini which has strongly contributed to the democratic development of Albania and its Euro-Atlantic integration.
Assessing the Italy’s role in improving the relations with Albania, Meta said that “Italy is an irreplaceable strategic partner for Albania. “
