TIRANA, April 21/ATA/-In the context of digitalization of the public services, e-Albania is the country’s main achievement.
E-Albania is the governmental portal where the governmental services in the physical offices of the institutions are offered electronically thanks to the Government Interoperability Platform that interconnects the systems of these institutions with each other. The portal is conceived as a one stop shop where a citizen can be registered only by using his Albanian ID card and is served by seeking and applying for the service he needs.
48 institutions are included in the platform that offers more than 400 documents online to the benefit of the citizens, businesses and public administration civil servants.
Prime Minister Edi Rama called on the citizens from Fier to use this platform through which they will get the necessary services faster and in a more efficient way beyond any room for abuse or corruption.
“Albania has entered into a new stage of providing services and at present there are a number of services offered through the e-Albania platform via the Internet. 400 documents are provided online”, said PM Rama.
The prime minister also asked the local and central leaders to work on making as many people as possible aware of using these services./a.gjonaj/ /a.g/p.s./
