TIRANA, April 21/ATA/-All prison officers and warders as well as the civil stuff will be vetted.
The Adviser at the Ministry of Justice Edis Ibrahimi told ATA that the process has begun and is rather dynamic.
According to him, vetting aims to clear the staff from people who had penal or criminal record.
“All the prison staff of 4500 persons will be vetted,” said Ibrahimi.
According to him, 200 persons were affected during the first phase of the vetting.
The vetting focuses even on the qualification of the staff. It came out that 70 persons didn’t have the relevant qualification for the job./a.g/p.s./
