TIRANA, April 19 /ATA/ – Minister of Interior Fatmir Xhafaj hosted on Thursday Belgium’s State Secretary for Asylum Policy and Migration, Theo Francken.
The minister thanked his Belgian counterpart for the tremendous support that Belgium has provided to Albania in the process of EU accession.
The two parties touched on deepening of cooperation in curbing the phenomenon of illegal migration and asylum seeking.
Another topic under discussion was the future measures and concrete initiatives in this area.
