Tirana, April 19  /ATA/-  Direct flights started to operate on Thursday from Tirana International Airport to Luton Airport London with an Airbus A320 aircraft.

In a press release, Tirana’s International Airport  “Mother Teresa” announces that the new route will be operated by  Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, from Tirana International Airport to London Luton, three times a week and the air fares, according to the company, will range from EUR 29.99 EURO, creating affordable trip opportunities for Albanians.

“We are enthusiastic about this new service launched by Wizz Air. This will be a great help to many Albanians living in London and beyond. It will open up new opportunities for travelers and exploration of Albania,” according to executive director of Tirana International Airport, Dr. Rolf Castro-Vasquez.

The new route offered by Wizz Air follows the direct flight to Budapest, a service which Wizz Air launched in April last year.
