TIRANA, April 14 /ATA/ – The Albanian Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Niko Peleshi, held Saturday a meeting with farmers of Laknas, in Tirana District on the necessary assistance to be provided to the IPARD program schemes.
The “First Call” for funding, subsidies and grants applications provided by this program for the Albanian agriculture will take place in early May.
In attendance at the meeting were member organizations representatives of the Albanian Agribusiness Council.
“The promotion of this program is a process that requires a more detailed work plan aiming at restoring confidence in all participating actors and their benefits from IPARD schemes,” Minister Peleshi said.
“Transparency will be of particular relevance to the IPARD process development , as well as the process of evaluation and selection of the winners,” Peleshi stated. /e.caushi// a.i/
