TIRANA, April 12 /ATA/ – “To us, rules apply equally to all,” PM Edi Rama stated shortly after the decision of Parliament Bureau to expel Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ditmir Bushati.
“Ditmir Bushati instinctively reacted today to an ugly aggression, but he did wrong! He demanded a public apology and yet he was punished. To us, rules apply equally to all, and we are not like them who know nothing of apology and, what’s more, are proud of their ugliness,” PM Rama pens on his Facebook account.
Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ditmir Bushati, and 6 other lawmakers from the opposition were expelled for ten days from parliament proceedings in connection with the latest developments in today’s plenary session.
