TIRANA, April 6 /ATA /- The opening of this consulate that will provide consular assistance to the south of Albania, comes at a time when we need to further consolidate our diplomatic relations as well as all human relations with Austria, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ditmir Bushati stated at the inauguration of Austrian Honorary Consulate in Vlora.
“The Albanian government expects to boost the economic cooperation with Austria, considering the untapped opportunities offered by Vlora and the ambitious new projects to be implemented in this city,” Bushati stated.
The Honorary Consulate in Vlora is added to the 43 other Honorary Consulates list currently, operating in our country.
Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEFA) has supported the opening of new honorary consulates and since 2013 , 17 honorary consuls have been appointed in our country./a.gjonaj//a.g// a.i/
