TIRANA, April 5/ATA/-Prime Minister Edi Rama said on Thursday that the opposition is on the street not to support Kukës residents against the Nation’s Highway toll, but to escape the justice reform.
During his speech in the Assembly, PM Rama pointed to all those who avoided the vetting or who will fail to pass it that they will give account in accordance with the law.
The prime minister also said that the government has not forgotten even its pledge to bring to justice all the persons responsible for January 21 or Gërdeci events.
But, we have undertaken a difficult reform, i.e. to put in track the justice system, said PM Rama.
The prime minister also answered to claims by some citizens demanding confiscation of all the stolen money saying that Albania has no system of confiscations decided at party meeting and executed by government like in a dictatorial system.
“We live in another system, said PM Rama, hence we implement the justice reform and that’s why they are on the streets. Justice must make justice. The government is not entitled to any constitutional obligation to make justice”, said he./a.gjonaj/ /a.g/p.s./
