TIRANA, April 3/ATA/-The lawmaker of the Socialist Movement for Integration (SMI) Robert Bitri challenged the stance of the opposition for civil disobedience in the wake of the protests staged on Saturday against the Durrës-Kukës Morinë toll that will be paid at the toll station by Thirra tunnel.
He said he refused to accept the call of the Democratic Party (DP) chairman Lulzim Basha for civil disobedience made during the joint meeting of the opposition DP-SMI meeting.
On Monday, Basha and the SMI Chairwoman Monika Kryemadhi called on the citizens not to pay any taxes and join their protest.
The opposition lawmakers of the DP also boycotted the meeting on Tuesday of the Parliamentary Committee of Economy, but the SMI Lawmaker Edmond Haxhinasto attended the meeting./a.gjonaj/ /a.g/p.s./
