Opposition’s mudslinging cannot stop vetting from purging palace of justice

TIRANA, March 28 /ATA/- By I. Vata/ –The launch of vetting with a legal blow to the first subject that was subjected to the vetting of this historical process for Albanian justice has gripped DP’s historic leader and his party, however no mudslinging will stop vetting from purging the Palace of Justice from corrupt judges and prosecutors, the chairman of Parliamentary Law Committee Ulsi Manja stated on Wednesday.

Manja said that on March 23, the vetting raised the curtain. During these two days, public opinion expected the opposition to say a few words about the process of justice reform enforcement, but all to no avail. The silence fell on Monday at the National Council of Integration where opposition did not only welcome the launch of vetting and the swearing of Qualification Commission, but with political rage it anathemized justice reform as the next failed effort, causing panic over obstruction of justice institutions.

Manja added that no mudslinging targeted on vetting is likely to hamper the purge of justice palace from corrupt judges and prosecutors. The evil tongues should fall silent once and for all and let Independent Commission of Qualification, Public Commissioner, International Observer of International Monitoring Operation and Special College of Appeal perform the task entrusted by law and Constitution.
