TIRANA, March 10/ATA/- Lulzim Basha must face prosecution for the issue of the Democratic Party lobbying company because this is a question that has to do with Albania’s interest and the road of the country toward accession into the European Union, said Prime Minister Edi Rama on Saturday.
The prime minister reacted through a video posted on the social media, the Facebook, to the statement of the Democratic Party (DP) chairman Lulzim Basha at the “Opinion” broadcast claiming that “the functioning scheme of the lobbying companies is not translated accurately”.
Although the host of the TV broadcast insisted that the text was translated by the television staff, Basha said that, “Translation has been provided by the Socialist Party”. “This is an incorrect translation provided by the Socialist Party”, said Basha.
“Wrong translation???Again? Wrong translation of the draft of the justice reform; wrong translation of the Vetting Law; wrong translation of the EU-USA statement”, PM Rama reminds the DP claims case after case.
“No, it’s not a wrong translation”, says further the prime minister while emphasizing that, “It’s high time of Basha confessing at the Prosecution Office because this time it’s a question that has to do with Albania’s interest and its road toward accession into the EU”.
PM Rama called on the DP chairman, “To change his SP tune and go and confess at the Prosecution Office”./m.m/p.s./
