TIRANA, March 8/ATA/-For the first time Albanian farmers are applying for benefiting from the national scheme of support for the agriculture. No documents are required and the regional agriculture employees in 36 spots countrywide are assisting the farmers with preparation of the required application forms.
The national scheme for agriculture consists of a fund of 2 billion lekë. The scheme is designed to increase competiveness of their agriculture products, improve food safety standards of the livestock products, increase value of the product and diversify the economic activity in the rural areas, encourage the domestic traditional products, improve fishery management and increase export, gain access in the international markets for the domestic products, improve quality of the product and guarantee the food safety quality.
On Wednesday, Prime Minister Edi Rama invited the farmers to apply for 50% investment aid scheme and address to the application windows for this purpose.
