TIRANA, Jan 20 /ATA/ Puka, the alpine town in northern Albania, has grown into a popular destination for both foreign tourists and locals. Its appeal lies not only in its stunning natural beauty, with snow-covered landscapes this January, in rich gastronomy, and traditional cuisine, but now Puka also offers a new attraction for visitors to experience the area’s charm: the Zip Line.

Prime Minister Edi Rama has posted images of a large group of tourists who have chosen Puka as this month’s top tourist destination. Among the new attractions is the Zip Line, offering an exciting way to take in the beauty of Puka from above.

Prime Minister Rama says that the Zip Line in tourist Puka has been installed by the Albanian Development Fund and will soon be followed by installations in Divjakë, Durrës, Elbasan, Belsh, Valbona, and Voskopojë.

Puka is an alpine town in northern Albania, situated 145 km from Tirana. It is a popular destination for mountain lovers, those in seeking fresh air, peace, and inspiration from nature, offering an ideal retreat from the hustle of busy urban life. The town is famed for its expansive pine forest, spanning 400 hectares, and the many therapeutic benefits of pine tree.

The lake in the city is the first destination to explore, with resting areas tucked among tall fir trees. From this point, you can hike up to Han Hill to explore the natural ski slopes, along with the nearby meadows and hills that surround the town.
Puka also serves as a base for mountaineering, with opportunities to explore Mount Munella, the Tërbuni Mountains, and Mount Krrabi.
