The State Minister for Youth and Children said Thursday that she and Helvetas officials discussed the “Strong Municipalities” program, the significance of youth involvement and the fair gender representation in local youth councils but also in city councils.

Talks also focused on local and central coordination aimed at delivering more services to children and young people.

Muzhaqi praised the project managers and their team for establishing the National Alliance of Municipal Councillors, and their work on a more inclusive society, gender equality and equal representation in politics and decision-making.
