Prime Minister Edi Rama shared on social media images from the construction site of the National Culture Center for Children.

Rama emphasized that the Center is “being revitalized as a modern space near the Grand Park of the Lake in Tirana, featuring a dual-stage setup within the building.”

A key feature of this investment is the development of a dual-purpose stage that serves both indoor performances and outdoor events, transforming into an open-air amphitheater when used outside.

The PM adds that the exterior of the building will also take the shape of “an open-air amphitheater, with auditoriums and classrooms dedicated to arts and innovation.”

Prime Minister states that the National Culture Center for Children will become a creativity laboratory for children and youth — a one-of-a-kind hub in the region.

This investment is one of the largest in the Balkans and will offer modern conditions for social and cultural activities, with a strong focus on nurturing young talent and promoting arts education for children.

The plan also entails the creation of a spacious workshop dedicated to producing puppets and stage props for performances. The facility will be available for use by youth and students from the Academy of Arts.

This center will provide opportunities for a variety of performing arts courses, including acting, ballet, music, and many other activities, enabling young people to showcase and develop their talents.
