Petrika Tollkuçi, Chairman of the Korça Regional Council, described the festival as the revival of one of the city’s most cherished memories – a time when the stage was filled with emotion, artistic discipline, and young voices performing with remarkable passion.

During the 1980s, lyrical music performances of this kind were among the city’s most anticipated cultural events. Concert halls were filled with audiences, and every performance marked the beginning of what often became an important artistic journey.

The festival created a space for young performers to make their voices heard, transform passion into expression, and take their first steps toward realizing their artistic dreams.

On behalf of the Korça Regional Council, Tollkuçi reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to supporting initiatives that promote the arts and create opportunities for young people. He also expressed gratitude to all participating high schools, school leaders, and teachers whose dedication helps shape the artists of tomorrow.
