In a post on her social media account, Xhaçka emphasizes that this path is finally clear.

The chief diplomat underlines that “Albania looks forward to starting the official negotiations and the 1st Intergovernmental Conference, with the same commitment to EU integration that it has always shown.”

“Finally the way is clear! Congratulations to North Macedonia for approving the French proposal, thus unlocking our perspective in the EU. Albania looks forward to the start of official negotiations and the 1st Intergovernmental Conference, with the same commitment to EU integration that it has always shown! 3 years have passed by! It is time to make up for the lost time,” Minister Xhaçka said.
