TIRANA, April 17 /ATA/ In Fushë-Peshtan of Berat, Flamur together with his sons, Admir and Eneritan, are moving into high gear to convert “Pupa” winery into an agritourism business with the support of ARDA and the IPARD Program as the tourist season approaches.

On Sunday, Prime Minister Edi Rama published pictures from this winery, emphasizing: “everything built from the ground up local craftsmen and pebbles, with an authentic character.”

The Pupa family, known for the plant nurseries, also runs 18 hectares of vineyards, with 6-7 local grape varieties, and produces some brands.

Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Frida Krifca, saw first-hand the winery, where she got acquainted with the tireless work of Flamur and his sons. You have been a staunch promoter of the local product,” Krifca said in a conversation with Flamur.

Agritourism has become an excellent form of business to keep people in the countryside and ensure sustainable development in rural areas. There is a growing interest in such investments in rural areas.
