In a social media post, Prime Minister Edi Rama shared footage from the event, which features Albanian wineries alongside wineries from Kosovo and representatives of Italy’s Arbëresh community.

“The Wine Festival in Berat is a fine example: Albanian wines, tradition, and friends from Kosovo and the Arbëresh community coming together around an identity that creates value. More local identity. A stronger local economy. More of Albania to discover,” Rama wrote.

“Wine & Stories” brought together hundreds of visitors, who enjoyed quality Albanian wines, music, artistic performances and stories highlighting the history of the museum city.

The festival aims to promote Albanian wine alongside Berat’s traditions and cultural heritage, contributing to the development of experiential tourism and agritourism in the area.
