A total of 499 operational personnel and 43 firefighting vehicles have been deployed as part of efforts to tackle the fires.

The Armed Forces have supported the operations with 120 personnel, five helicopters and two Air Tractor aircraft.

According to the Ministry of Defence, 120 Armed Forces personnel, three helicopters and two Air Tractor aircraft are currently operating on the ground.

In Tirana’s Dajti Mountain, firefighting operations are ongoing, with 50 Armed Forces personnel and two Air Force helicopters deployed to support the effort. There is no threat to nearby residential areas.

Meanwhile, the Priskë–Gurrë e Madhe–Farkë–Lundër fire is under control and remains under monitoring.

The fire in Vakumone, Shëngjergj, remains active. Firefighting services, volunteers and the Shëngjergj Administrative Unit are involved in the response. There is no threat to residential areas.

One of the largest firefighting operations is continuing in Gurë-Lurë, Dibër, involving 120 municipal personnel, 20 police officers, 11 ADZM personnel, 15 firefighting personnel and 50 Armed Forces personnel, supported by two Air Tractor aircraft.

The opening of firebreak corridors has halted the fire’s advance towards homes, and there is currently no threat to residential areas.

In Qafë Helmes, Dibër/Bulqizë, the operation involves 11 firefighting personnel, 27 municipal personnel and 20 Armed Forces personnel. The fire has been extinguished on the Bulqizë side but remains active towards Selishtë, with no threat to homes.

In Abaze, Krujë, the fire remains active but at low intensity, with no threat to residential areas. The fire in Zidoll is being monitored.

In Lufaj, Mirditë, crews are continuing to open firebreaks. Meanwhile, a new fire has been reported in Thari, where firefighting teams have been dispatched and a helicopter has been deployed to support the operation.

In Fushë-Lajë, Shkodër, crews are continuing to tackle the fire in rugged terrain. In Rrjoll, the inaccessible terrain has made direct intervention difficult, so the situation is being closely monitored, with a drone used to assess the extent of the fire.

In Dardhë, Librazhd, firefighting services, forestry personnel and municipal teams remain engaged in efforts to extinguish the fire. There is no threat to residential areas.
