Thus, at the end of the works, Tirana-Durrës motorway will be a four-lane road in each direction.

The works on expansion of the motorway has started in the first two lots, Kamza-Vora and Vora-Sukth.

In the draft budget of 2025, there is provided the financing for these two lots in the amount of over 1 billion ALL. For the third lot, the funds will be provided in 2026, while for lots 4 and 5 in 2027.

The works for Tirana-Durres motorway have been divided into 5 lots and the total cost in the budget is calculated at 10 billion ALL.

Tirana – Durrës motorway is one of the main and most important arteries of the country. This motorway connects the two largest administrative, industrial, cultural and tourist centers of Albania, as well as the North-South and East-West corridors. /r.e/a.f/p.s./
