Prime Minister Edi Rama shared Friday on social media highlights from this celebration, which has already become a tradition.

“Hundreds of visitors joined this beautiful tradition, in this unique event combining history, culture, tradition, customs, hospitality and tourism,” Rama said.

The wheat festival is one of the biggest festivals organized by the Municipality of Fier as part of the promotion of the Myzeqe tradition.

Held in the month of June every year and accompanied by festive rituals created over the centuries, this local celebration is already another added value to cultural tourism.
