In a joint press conference alongside the World Bank country manager in Albania, Emanuel Salinas, Prime Minister Rama informed that there was a difficult and long process of conversation and negotiation with the World Bank to craft the new framework of the partnership which is actually the new development program with the support of the WB for the period 2023-2027.

“We have been provided with 900 million dollars, which will be disbursed according to a number of points. But what I want to say is that we have come to a new phase in the economic and social life of the country and we have laid all the necessary foundations to make another leap as part of the objectives announced for the Albania 2030 vision,” Rama said.

Rama thanked the World Bank for all its support over the years, but especially for this process that has now been framed.

“To the best of my recollection, it is the most in-depth process in every sector and detail and the most unconventional process that we have conducted to address all those issues of the social and economic life of the country that will bring new developing energies,” he said.
