TIRANA, March 29 /ATA/ The investments made in these 7 years of government have guaranteed 24-hour water supply until the end of 2020 for 52 urban areas.

Prime Minister Edi Rama posed a question to his followers on instastory on the social network Instagram, in the section “100 days, 100 achievements” how many kilometers of pipelines have been laid these years to provide 24- hour water supply to citizens, 1100 km or 8700 km.

Prime Minister Edi Rama posed a question to his followers on instastory on the social network Instagram, in the section “100 days, 100 achievements” how many kilometers of pipelines have been laid these years to provide 24 hour water supply to citizens, 1100 km or 8700 km.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Rama has promised that at the end of the third term, there will be no more talk about lack of water supply because uninterrupted supply will be a reality.

“There are 100 projects on the ground and over 120 construction sites working to guarantee that all urban centers of Albania with high intensity of population access 24-hour drinking water, ” Rama stated yesterday during a meeting in Kombinat.

According to the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, from 1991 to 2013, over 1.5 billion euros were invested in the waterways and sewerage sector and yet in 2013, only the city of Korça was supplied with drinking water non-stop.

According to data from MEI in 2013, only 117,354 inhabitants were supplied with drinking water 24 hours a day. Meanwhile, at the end of 2021, the government intends to provide 24-hour drinking water supply to 2,848,000 inhabitants throughout Albania.
