Vrushi has started as a retailer to grow to a warehousing point for over 500 farmers and serve as a key link in the chain of Albanian agricultural exports to the EU.

Last year alone, the value of exports via his warehousing point amounted to € 2.6 million.

The Director of the Agency for Agricultural and Rural Development (ARDA) Frida Krifca saw first-hand the work done by Vrushi in Frakull, Fier.

Vrushi said that “I am the winner of the ARDA scheme and thanks to the investment made here, work has increased significantly, we have increased the capacity of employees and farmers who bring products to our warehouse.”

Odise Çepele said that “I have returned from Greece 10 years ago and invested my savings in agriculture, but in the last 4 years I have been working with Arthur at this point.”

A strawberry farmer said that in the absence of the warehouse he sold strawberries in the market. “I started with 1 acre plot to expand the cultivation area to about 2 ha,” he stressed.

Krifca said that “the impact that investments deliver is important, because although the owner of warehousing point makes the investment, the impact goes directly to the farmer. This financing is really networked in the whole range of 400 thousand farmers that are in Albania today. ”
