In a press statement at the headquarters of the main opposition party on Friday, Berisha released a video he said proves the “farce” in the Municipality of Krujë.

He alleged that during voting, “political police and patronage agents illegally and unconstitutionally controlled citizens’ votes, with voters either casting collective ballots or voting under camera surveillance so their votes could be read.”

Berisha emphasized that the footage irrefutably confirms the electoral process was a farce and that vote secrecy was not respected.

He affirmed the Democratic Party’s commitment to exposing the “ugly farce” of May 11 and called on all Albanians – inside the country and abroad – to remain steadfast until free and secret voting is restored.
