The Administration of Protected Areas in Gjirokastra announces that, last weekend saw an influx of local and foreign visitors to the “Thermal Springs of Bënja,” National Park “Bredhi i Hotovës – Dangëlli”, in Peshtan and Çajupi Field of the natural park “Zagori” and the natural park “Vjosa River Valley.”

While specialists of Gjirokastra Protected Areas Administration familiarized the tourists with these protected areas.

Protected areas have great potentials for development of tourism. These areas are considered as the major attractions of Gjirokastra region, which also plays host to various activities.
Tourist destinations in the region of Gjirokastra are numerous and tourists have are spoiled for choice away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
