Vetting, IQC dismisses judge in first instance court of general jurisdiction

TIRANA, Nov 1 /ATA/ The Independent Qualification Commission has dismissed from office the subject of re-evaluation, Blerina Muço, judge in the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction.

The decision was taken with a majority of votes by the trial panel of the IQC. The decision reasoned in writing, by the panel chaired by Pamela Qirko, Roland Ilia rapporteur, Brunilda Bekteshi member, will be notified to the subject of the revaluation, the Public Commissioner and the international monitors within 30 days.

This decision can be appealed to the Special Appeals College by the subject of reevaluation and/or the Public Commissioner 15 days from the date of notification of the Commission’s decision. The appeal is filed with the Independent Qualification Commission.

SAC upholds decision of IQC on judge of Gjirokastra, Ramiz Lala

TIRANA, July 12 /ATA/ The Special Appellate College has upheld the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission for Ramiz Lala, Chief Judge of the First -Instance Administrative Court of Gjirokastra.

The Trial Panel of the Special Appellate College, composed of Sokol Çomo presiding, Ardian Hajdari rapporteur, Ina Rama, Natasha Mulaj and Rezarta Schuetz, members, delivered the decision on the appeal filed by the Public Commissioner against the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission related to the subject of re-evaluation Ramiz Lala.

At the end of the trial, the trial panel decided to uphold the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission on the subject of re-evaluation Ramiz Lala.

The Independent Qualification Commission has confirmed in office on July 26, 2019 the Chief Judge of the Administrative Court of Gjirokastra, Ramiz Lala who passed the vetting on three criteria, legitimacy of wealth, integrity and professional proficiency.

Vetting/ IQC dismisses judge of Tirana’s Administrative Court of Appeal, Lindita Sinanaj

TIRANA, July 8 /ATA/ – By I. Vata/ Independent Qualification Commission on Thursday dismissed Lindita Sinanaj, judge at Tirana’s Administrative Court of Appeal.

The Independent Qualification Commission announced that after reviewing the documentation and holding the hearing on the subject of re-evaluation, Lindita Sinanaj, based on law no. 84/2016, today, on 8.7.2021, decided to dismiss her from office.

The decision reasoned in writing by the trial panel chaired by Pamela Qirko, rapporteur Suela Zhegu and member Lulzim Hamitaj, will be notified to the subject of re-evaluation, the Public Commissioner and international observers within 30 days.

Vetting/IQC confirms in office Ilir Përdeda, judge in Lezha court

TIRANA, April 23 /ATA/ – By I. Vata/ The Independent Qualification Commission has confirmed in office on Friday Ilir Përdeda, judge in the Lezha Judicial District Court.

The Independent Qualification Commission has held on Friday a session for delivering the decision on the subject of re-evaluation Ilir Përdeda.

The Trial Panel composed of Lulzim Hamitaj, Genta Tafa Bungo, Pamela Qirko after reviewing the evidence and facts decided to confirm in office the subject of re-evaluation Ilir Përdeda, judge in the Lezha Judicial District Court.

Ilir Përdeda started his career in the justice system in 1993. He worked as a judge and chief justice of first instance court in Mirdita and since 2008 he has worked in the Lezha Judicial District Court.
Përdeda is currently a candidate to be promoted as an Appeals Judge in one of the competitions opened by the High Judicial Council.
