The event drew classic scooter enthusiasts to the capital, blending a shared passion for Vespa with cultural exchange, friendship, and international solidarity. The heart of the festivities was Skanderbeg Square, which featured a symbolic installation celebrating the close ties between Albania and Italy.

This year’s edition coincided with the 80th anniversary of the creation of the Vespa and the 80th anniversary of the Italian Republic, adding the event a special symbolic significance.

Beyond the festive atmosphere, the parade also conveyed awareness messages regarding breast cancer as part of the “Pink October” campaign. The participants attached pink ribbons to their scooters as a sign of solidarity and to highlight the importance of early diagnosis.

The event began at 11:00 AM with the arrival and registration of participants at Skanderbeg Square. Vespa scooters paraded through the capital’s main streets, while the event continued with festive ceremonies and live music.

The “Vespa Parade Tirana 2026” was held with the support of the Municipality of Tirana, aiming to promote cultural exchange and strengthen friendship among the participating countries. /e.i/a.f/p.s./

The event will take place in Skanderbeg square, featuring a symbolic 600-square-meter installation designed to convey messages of unity and friendship between Albania and Italy.

This edition coincides with the 80th anniversary of the Vespa – the iconic Italian brand of motor scooters and mopeds manufactured by Piaggio- and the 80th anniversary of the Italian Republic, adding the event a special cultural and international dimension.

The “Pink October” campaign, supporting breast cancer awareness, will also be a key focus. Participants will adorn their Vespas with pink ribbons as a symbol of solidarity and a message highlighting the importance of women’s health and early diagnosis.

The event begins at 11:00 AM with the arrival and registration of participants, while the parade through the capital’s streets will take place from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Following the parade, the event will continue at Skanderbeg square with a ceremony, music and live performances by Xhesika Polo and Mateus Frroku.

Motorcyclists from Italy and other European countries arrived at the Port of Durrës as part of the 17th tour of “Three Seas 2023”.

They took the tour in Durrës with their Vespa motor scooters full of style and elegance and then all the participants moved toward the “Egnatia” Street.
