The new project entails construction of new facilities for nursery, kindergartens and preschool for children of the Administrative Unit 5, expansion of the previous capacity of this institution, doubling the number of children attending them.

The mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj along with the SP deputy, Pandeli Majko inspected on Tuesday the reconstruction works on the kindergarten 42, while recalling the numerous accusations of the opposition that allegedly a block of flats would be built instead of Kindergarten 42, but in fact it turned out to be untrue.

In his remarks, mayor Veliaj said that,”beyond the accusations of cynics and disbelievers against such infrastructure works, the Municipality of Tirana will continue with hard work and not words to convince all those who become an obstacle to development projects in the capital.”

Mayor Veliaj emphasized that, 40 more schools are under construction, including the kindergarten in the former Bllok area, “Lasgush Poradeci” and “Sami Frashëri” schools. //a.i/
