TIRANA, May  16 /ATA/ The SP candidate for mayor in Tirana, Erion Veliaj is the winner of the local elections in Tirana by a significant margin.

Veliaj is ahead of the “Together We Win” coalition candidate, Belind Këlliçi, by a margin of 60,000 votes.

According to the official data released by the CEC, Veliaj is the winner in all 27 local government units of Tirana.

This is the greatest victory ever won by a candidate in the history of Tirana, also one of the most crushing defeats the opposition has ever suffered. /m.m/sm/
