“The students of Zall-Herr will access a school that will be comparable to any other school in Tirana in terms of quality and standard. The truth of the matter is that many of the schools in the former Bloc neighborhood fall below this standard. As part of post-earthquake reconstruction efforts, we have been given an extraordinary opportunity to build them like anywhere in the west. The first day of school will be a blessed day of September for these children who will feel themselves like citizens of Tirana”, said Veliaj.

The mayor added that parents no longer need to send their children to schools that are far from their neighborhood.

“We have built a much more beautiful school than those in Tirana center, so I see no reason why a child should spend hours in traffic to go to school. We will make a call with the Administrative Unit for everyone to register at the school in Dritas – registration is very easy at e-Albania. It will be so beautiful that even the children from Nikla, from the surrounding villages, from Tapiza, will come here, because people are attracted to good and the beautiful things,” said Veliaj.

He added that the work will continue uninterruptedly, especially during the summer. The heavy – tonnage
vehicles will work during the weekend, while the citizens are on the beach resting, so that the school will be delivered in September.
