“We are very proud of all of our volunteers out there, all the boys and girls who day to day try to contact people, get information, outline the program, try to say that beyond exhaustion, debates and cynicism, the projects are shaping up just like this plaza where we have gathered, which used to be in disarray, like the “Sami Frashëri” school which our adversaries moved to Paskuqan in their allegations, but today is being built back stronger than ever at Barrikadat street, like “Skënderbej “square which was the busiest race course for those passionate for cars, those who have turned the election campaign into a race over who has the biggest car, who gives the loudest honk on his horn, who gets more than half the body out of the car while moving on the highway, who has a “Bentley,” “Range Rover or” Hummer, “said Veliaj.

No one should follow the example of those showing off the luxury cars, Tirana mayor said.

“Politics is not about showing off the luxury cars, politics is the race for the ground-breaking idea. Politics is not a race who gives the loudest honk on his horn, politics is a race for the strongest will to get things done, from vaccination, reconstruction to any other public work.”
