The meeting, Veliaj said, focused on the efforts to clean the Albanian football of the scum that has controlled it for 20 years.

“It was a pleasure to meet with the outstanding international sport lawyer Efraim Barak. As CAS (Court of Arbitration for Sports) arbitrator and vice-chair of the UEFA Legal Committee, he will assist us with cleaning up the image of Albanian football,” Veliaj said.

Veliaj emphasizes that, “as co-owner of FK Tirana, the Municipality will join forces with all actors who want to clean out the scum that has controlled the Albanian football for 20 years.”
