The General Directorate of Road Transport reported that between January and August 2025, 66,521 vehicles were newly registered in Albania, reflecting an upward trend in the modernization of the country’s road fleet.

The main countries of origin for the registered vehicles are: South Korea with 21%; Italy with 15.9%; Germany with 15.4%; Switzerland with 8.2%; the USA with 8.2%; and China with 8%.

During this period, 5,333 vehicles were permanently deregistered, marking a 17.6% increase compared to 2024.
