The news was announced on Monday by the Minister of Health and Social Protection, Ogerta Manastirliu, who said that “so far over 1.4 million vaccinations have been administered.”

“1,929,172 vaccines have arrived in Albania so far, while over 1.4 million anticovid vaccines have been delivered,” said Manastirliu.

The Minister reiterated the appeal to the citizens to get vaccinated as soon as possible, as the vaccines save lives.

September will also be an open vaccination month for all age groups +18, who can be vaccinated anywhere in health centers or in centralized vaccination points, by presenting their ID card.

For people with special needs, mobile vaccination units will be everywhere in the territory to give you the opportunity to get vaccinated against COVID-19 without any restrictions.
