“The health center in Saranda, already refurbished up to the standards, thanks to the program of the Albanian government for the rehabilitation and construction of 300 health centers, has changed beyond recognition thanks to the investments we have made in infrastructure and the necessary equipment. This centre offers services to more than 44,000 citizens of Saranda, ” said Manastirliu.

Following the vaccination process, Minister of Health announced that today another significant amount of Pfizer vaccines will arrive in our country, bringing to over 1,700,000 doses the total number of vaccines arrived in the country.

“We will receive over 50,000 Pfizer vaccines today and they will be immediately distributed in health centres, in our vaccination sites, meanwhile work is underway with mobile units which vaccinate door to door every family and citizen who is unable to move, ” said Manastirliu.

The Minister of Health has invited all citizens over 18 years of age to receive the jab as soon as possible, appealing to students to be vaccinated before the start of the new academic year.

In our country, 1,203,087 vaccinations against COVID have been delivered. Over 530.000 citizens have been fully vaccinated.
