According to minister Manastirliu, 19197 vaccinations have been administered throughout the country on Wednesday alone.

“Vaccination continues apace in all corners of the country to protect the life and health of citizens. Today we surpassed 550 thousand vaccinations,” the minister said.

The epidemiological situation in Albania is under control.

The process of large-scale vaccination continues apace throughout the country based on a blended schedule for citizens aged over 60 years and employees of essential services.

Vaccination is being delivered in line with all safety requirements by trained teams of vaccinators across the country.

“I pray to God to continue like this! We want to vaccinate half a million people by May, paving the way for a relaxed tourist season,” Rama said in a televised interview.

Rama said that “we negotiate, communicate and work day in and day out in all continents. We signed contracts with ‘Pfizer,’ we continue to receive doses according to the ‘Pfizer’ timetable. We have expanded into all areas, trying to win as much as possible in favor of the Albanians.”
Albanians, Rama said, “are cognizant that we neither chose, nor could have avoided the two subsequent shocks that hit us.”

“Our second term of office was like no other, it was more of a mandate to fight on two fronts that a mandate to govern. Today the Albanians should focus on the glorious victory of these battles to make Albania a place where everyone sees his future working hard for economic growth,” said Rama.
